I love that quote from Frankl. When I did my CPE year at UNC I had to declare a theological theme and use a psychotherapy to blend with it, if possible. I heard "hope" from so many of my patients who were waiting for heart transplants and I had discovered Frankl in school and again in my Basic CPE. I still read him now and then. Logotherapy fit so well with hope and it was so helpful as I served churches and was an EMT/Fire Department Chaplain.
