As someone who has experienced a brain hemorrhage (I had an avm that ruptured) it was really scary, but Praise God the Dr. that diagnosed me with the hemorrhage was part of a team of Believer's and asked to pray with us before telling us what the ct scan showed. I was 4½ months pregnant with our first son, whose name is William Jay David, his initials stand for What Jesus Did, and I had such a peace over the diagnosis because I knew that Jesus was with me every step of the way. I was in ICU for only 6 days! The Neurosurgeon I had at the time couldn't help me, and said that I couldn't have surgery until my body didn't even know I'd been pregnant, those were his words. I was referred to Oklahoma City and had an embolization, and it was only 70% successful. I ended up having gamma knife radiation surgery and that made it stop bleeding. I have radiation necrosis as a result and it has caused memory loss and personality changes.
I'm so glad that God has chisen you to go through medical school! I'm looking forward to hearing from you later on, on how God leads you into a particular field of medicine. And how God uses you and your life situations to impact your patients and others who will be inspired by your testimony!
