I wish I had heard this last week. I was not wise and didn’t bridle my tongue. I blew up at a coworker who was being passively aggressive toward me. I had a lot going on in my life with a large event I was in charge of, company coming for my daughters graduation, parties to plan and I was buried in stuff at work plus asked to train someone while another coworker was out. My coworker started complaining to someone else about a scheduling issue and anyway I lost it.
I tried today to apologize to her and she shut me down and wouldn’t listen. So now I have mess and I’m so stressed out about it.
I'm sorry that happened! All of us have those moments of losing our self-control, but your insight and conviction to make it right going forward will be rewarded! And your changed attitude win your coworker back in time, once they see that you're sincerely apologetic for the outburst. Hectic days/weeks can bring out the worst in us, but self brain surgery helps! God bless you friend.
